I am a professional photographer specializing in travel, documentary, and portrait work, as well as a working freelance journalist with more than 10 years experience in the field.
Both as a photographer and journalist, my interest lies with the relationship between people, and their culture. I am often moved deeply when witnessing the ebb and flow of daily life around the world and strive to create works that capture this.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and have written since a very early age. Combining this with my love of photography was a natural coupling. I started out aged six with weird and wonderful poems about gigantic trees and albatrosses; seedlings that grew into my passion for visual and textual storytelling today.
I am a graduate of both MatadorU's Advanced Travel Photography course and Fundamentals of Travel Photography course. You can find a number of my photo essays from around the world over at Matador Network.
However you came here, I'm glad you found me!
